He won’t do it. He may be a democrat but Kentucky is a very rural, red state. He may invoke some more limitations, but not a complete shutdown of all Lowe’s and HD.

It ain’t happenin’....

Will happen. State govt and health dept override federal decision here as state health is a state issue. In KY i have seen a lot of businesses close that one would deem important, beg for reprieve and fail. This is a commonwealth state. Also, if they can't close a state Gov't can impose limits on the store or public that make the company wish it had closed. If the governor issues a stay at home order with misdemeanor charges and curfews as many have, this can cause sales to drop dramatically. Say a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. curfew is issued and people can't go out for anything but groceries or essential repair?? This will hurt Lowes. And frankly the way they are treating employees during Covid-19 and putting them in danger, i hope this happens. Dump your stock. Bad things are coming. Also, lest we forget all the "wonderful" things good ol Marvin did for JC penney and how it is flourishing more than ever due to his time there. His bad decisions are legendary

Won’t happen. The feds will override him if he does. Housing is essential, so it follows that the goods needed to construct and maintain them are also.
