Why are the essential workers not given PPE?
Are they wanting us to quit?
Does anyone have an answer for this?

Demand outpacing supply. It didn’t help that USA sent 12 tons of masks to China in February 2020 before they admitted that community spread was occurring. It takes awhile to replenish that many masks.
Very short supply worldwide on these. VPs each received a few hundred last week
medical staff in the UK dont have PPE so what chance has a CSE? masks are next to useless anyway.
Any company that fires its employees with five minute of heads up, pays less than 2% salary increases a year and often none at all deserves to have a union to show it the light.
What better way to bankrupt this weakened company than to organize an employee union to extract more profits during salary negotiations and then payoff union "bosses" for a job well done (Think GM, Chrysler and most K-12 schools). Yes, I'm all for it!! Let's go ...
Aren’t enough masks to go around for the ppl that need them across the globe. Going to first line health care workers first. They’re making them as fast as they can. As far as Xrx protecting you? Good luck. Buy what you need yourself. It’s the way it’s been at that company for 20 yrs.
And as for union ? Yep ok. Xerox doesn’t care. Organize and walk. They’ll find ppl who they’ll hire for the length of time they need. You’re all acting like xerox is a long play. They’re like a diabetes patient taking their Blood sugar to see if they can have that piece of cake. Living day to day.

You'd think with all the talk about 3d in R&D and all the activated charcoal we use in igen filters we might be able to make n95 masks for our own people. I have a Xerox staffed print department inside a hospital visited by ICU nurses treating covid19 patients. Our people their are terrified and are about to walk. Our people there don't even have gloves.
Union? Well, you'd want to get the emails of everyone using the email lists. Then a ProtonMail account later and its an easy start.
I asked and was told to get some if I felt I needed protection.
