Absolutely zero communication regarding commission program and how we will exactly be paid going forward. There is no way possible that things go back to business as usual because clearly everything is and will be different working in the retail stores. Yes I’m happy to have a job and yes at least they paid us the at risk for these past few months but I want to know what’s happening going forward. At least come out and say yes we are working on a new pay and commission structure and we will update you by such and such a date. It ought to be interesting though...given all the new touch-less ways a customer can shop without dealing with a rep.

I can't see it coming back with 6 foot rules wearing masks gloves, the one positive is that the days of helping whole families at one time are over! Only one or 2 family members at a time
I found these transactions usually a nightmare. And with 36 million, at least, on unemployment, I dont think the stores will be as busy as before.

They want the top earners to quit. Retail will never be the same heavy hitters are worthless in this climate.
You don’t average out “three months prior”. January, February and March??? Three of the toughest months of the year for retail. If you want to compensate top performers you need to use average for 2019.
My opinion and speculative at that is a new commission structure or the same structure will begin
on August 1st. Even if all stores open by the end of June there won’t be enough time to catch up on the new format of doing things so August makes the most sense. I don’t think the OP is out of line questioning job and pay stability or instability in regards to commission. There are reps in the top 10% of this company making thousands of dollars less each month and those in the bottom 10% percent who aren’t even use to making a commission check. I understand the magnitude that the current climate brings but disagree that everyone should be paid the same amount. Honestly the company should have averaged out the last 3 commission months prior to covid and paid accordingly. Overall though I do believe the company has done an excellent job through all of this.
Relax we are barely done with May. Chances are you weren’t even achieving over quota on a monthly basis anyway especially if your the type to complain about pay on this board. Get comfortable with this board. It’s called the lay-off for a reason pal!
Yeah there is no way of knowing when quota will return, only 50% of stores are open and they are only doing critical sales. So until we are back to full force we won’t see it. Quotas are set market wide so I could see if a particular market goes back to full force we could see it. But other then that it’ll more of the same
There is just a lot we don’t know. Sad how its gotten so political.
