VZ using testing to begin to reopening wireless stores

Rumor is VZ will be doing covid testing for all employees. Saw a news released from Bio Reference labs that they signed a deal with 3 major telecom companies?

Does that mean we are going back to the stores soon ?

They have already reopened stores near me. Only letting one customer in with each rep. So the stores will never be packed, although I haven't seen it packed on a long time anyway.

Stores are opening in June but some reps that are working at home are staying. Any info about that?

Yes Verizon retail will be as common as your local McDonalds.

Does Verizon really want to be in the retail business? My guess is NO!

Revenue was down 1% with 70% of stores closed. Think again sparky.

Since the stores closed the business has lost revenue. This shows the stores are an essential part of how the company maintains profitability.

Yes, they are opening as town's and cities open. But probably not all. It's a perfect time to shutter some and hope this recent forced push to digital can lower operating expenses.

Long term strategy is to shutdown stores. This will only be accelerated

Nope no money in it. Why spend money to bring back reps you don't need.
