You guys are so weird lol. JD did do a townhall that was well attended. I don’t like a lot of the company’s direction myself, but this forum reeks of resentment and obsessiveness. Calm down
stories on their arrogance—- arrogance anytime stank has a mic. Same can be said for Randall. I think about all the times they used to make fun of VZN and others. Remember those commercials they showed us where the VZN ( or Tmob) person would get tackled? While funny at that time, look who is laughing now.
How about Stephen Carter putting in an order for a new jet with greater range so he could fly from Atlanta to the UK nonstop. That did not go over very well in the Cingular Days. LMAO
Bad cell service was a common complaint for Execs, or they couldn't get a specific service (like Uverse)-
1) At their ski house (Aspen, Telluride, etc)
2) On their boat at the marina
3) At Horseshoe Bay
4) At their 'ranch'
For the most part, lots of $ and resources were deployed immediately to get these issues corrected so that said Execs, their spouse and their kids weren't inconvenienced. Need to run fiber? Get it DONE! Needed more capacity at the CO? Why isn't it done yet? T has spent an obscene amount of capital over the years enhancing the network at a 2nd/3rd/occasional residence so our Exec's kids could watch videos on their Company-supplied iPads.
The JVB thing from her house was a laugh riot in it's pomposity and demonstration of just how out of touch someone can be with her audience. It was truly epic.
I was once told that good old JD once showed up to a major building in NJ to do a Town Hall. Only a handful of people showed up! Supposedly he ranted on and on that he was going to close the complex and layoff
This is true. He was talked off the cliff and instead retaliated by making NJ go through a "training" program and increasing "collaboration"

All the wild critters appreciated the increase quality of service, too bad, they weren't able to respond net promoter survey due to lack of opposable thumb. These emails were deleted from their devices. They asked for a better voice command solution, low priority initiative subject to transformation process.
How about this one, the CFO told the media that 15 bucks for HBOMax is worth the cost. SMHIA. ATT lately (like the last f our or so years) have bad timing on stuff. First they buy DTV then streaming takes off, then they buy Warner, then COVID hits and no one is going to theaters, stadiums, arenas, close and no one can make movies or shows, now ATT is releasing a streaming service just when there is a major recession with mass layoffs, so who will want to over pay for something that is not necessary? ATT needs to get out of DTV and streaming and focus on the highway. 5g, fiber, that is where they should concentrate.
