Well it’s official – Coalface 1st this time, with Aberdeen Service Crew to be cut over the next 6 months.
A lot of very dodgy stuff going down, with no real details, honesty or integrity (why am I not surprised)?
Top Management still going on about how well they have done – check out your bottom line & collapsing share price Guys, you are truly the most deluded of the deluded.

  • & I thought GE O&G were bad enough – the Baker Boys must be taking a trip down Nostalgia Avenue if they think GE were solely responsible for this c-ap.

At least GE tried to do something for you, but under Baker Loose, no way canon fodder.
Things are happening slowly, Department by Department to hide the figures this time, so hang on to your hats, you will be next.
God Bless & good luck to all.

Jock McFly of Aberdeen.

Baker Aberdeen paid off people for over 6 months last down turn 3 years ago and this one is already far worse as all companies cutting work for next 2 years some of out clients have cut 90 % of there planned work.
They don't have to release numbers in the papers or to the unions if done this way and so looks good even though over 60% of our office was paid off in less than a year .
Each day hr just has a 5 min meeting and then your escorted outside.
At the start 4 years ago they would have various meetings after the original group selection to discuss options , transfer possibilities, so took months to actully get paid off and were in full pay the whole time , you could argue why they should keep you on ect. now it's just meeting and here what's you get which is the absolute basic package. Bye bye

Aberdeen has already started paying off this week.
Only doing a few per day for the next 5 weeks to keep it quiet.
Will be very few left by the time HR is finished so my manager was telling me yesterday in the office.
At least 35% to go and also cuts to pay coming.
