Magic with the ATT name. They are so out of touch and get all their services for free that they don't realize people see them as Old, Slow, Overpriced, Monopolistic, and Screw the Customer. In this day and age contracts, cable like boxes, and contracts??? Continuously forcing their substandard overpriced services into the marketplace as some premium thing. Oblivious and the stock price has shown it.

Oh yeah, removing efficiency data is going to make workers more efficient. Not! Stop trying to goof off and do your job.
For those of us out in the field doing the real work that glues this company together , numbers are just so fake and phony I have no words for it , the efficiency based metrics that the managers sweat their lives over have NO meaning in reality to those of us actually puzzling out each and every job. It is impossible to measure everything that one employee does when working for a singularly unique individual's household. The metrics / efficiency data collection MUST go ! There is no universal numbers counting spread sheet what will allow a nation wide company to grow and prosper !!!

Look, the company is AT&T in name only. We are working for SBC, the company is SBC in reality. So don't go comparing to the AT&T of pre breakup, it's a totally different thing.
too bad att's own couldn't explain their own math to me. but I now all of att is full of geniuses so they are just too good to give us dumb peasants any answers.

Truth att’s billing uses the same math that is used to calculate the pension at buyout time. It always favors att and senior management at that is the most important item. How any sane customer puts up wit their billing is beyond me. Guaranteed they don’t look at it because it gives them migraines. The same way I felt when I tried to argue with att on how the figured I was only going to live 8 years after I turned 65. They could not come up with an answer and never got back to me.
