Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Did Bernard announce layoffs

When Mr. Looney had his call with employees earlier this week, it sounded like he announced layoffs are to come in June. Did I understand him properly? I wonder how much more information will be announced after earnings on April 28.

We are hearing that they want a 30% reduction in all salaried workforce in America as well. Now is not a good time to be considered 'non-essential' personal.

Half empty Dyce office expected by end of August. This will not be pretty.

Noticed “sudden” departures last month. Looks like things have informally started!

We'll be Back....BP and its traditional moves. How is that carbon reduction project working. Is that the brother of Beyond Petroleum?

Beyond Prudent (BP) does it again. Spent shareholder value to build a super computer and now wants goodwill in COV-19 by forming a charitable enterprise. With so much intel on Economic models can't figure out a baseline of what it needs. Brilliant. Another reason the BP stock still overvalue.

More advertising in social media than actual Brain Power (BP).

Announces no layoff for 90 days, another example of One Team - meaning a Team of One - you're not included - no Brain Power (BP).

Confiscates retiree benefits that never intended to pay under the excuse of COV-19. You'll see how many people near retirement will never get those benefits.

The list goes on.

Expect UK (mainly Aberdeen) offices to be badly hit in light of all the project deferments to at least 2021 (but mainly 2022 or never).

Wonder if the Dyce HQ is up for grabs....
