Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

It's not as bad as I thought it would be...

Not good, either, though.

AT&T Inc. posted a 4.5% drop in revenue from a year ago and withdrew its forecast of 2% revenue growth for the year, saying it can’t provide a financial forecast for 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Revenue numbers for Q1 are virtually unaffected by pandemic for T , since most of the shutdowns started mid March.. Q2 will bring the real pandemic affected numbers, and it will be brutal.. besides all the lost retail traffic, they;re is likely to be a waive of delinquencies and late payments all over the place.. Maybe some folks will pay their expensive mobile bills, but many unemployed folks may use this oppty to find cheaper alternatives, for wireless and internet... to say nothing of HBO Max which will be DOA , releasing yet another OTA product into an already crowded market at the height of a pandemic.. yeah... not so good..
