Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

India lockdown, USA math/science challenged

The India lockdown is going to hurt those heavily outsourced there, like XRX. So sad.

The US is acting as if they never saw a graph they understood.

Smart companies may survive this. Xerox under Carl’s thumb of lackeys have not demonstrated intelligence of any kind, have they? A lot of greed and selfishness on display, nothing pointing to trying to keep the company afloat in 3 years.

The lockdown there hasn't been a big issue as they do have many who can work from home and there also is no work coming in at all because most customers are closed down.

Same- phone based pin code option simply says “error occurred”. May be related to other thread about being hacked?

Yah, my experience on BenefitsWeb was the same. Non-responsive login last night, then later “down for maintenance” and this morning 2FA not working with sms/text message. Still having that issue now.

Of course no way to report it unless you want to call the support desk, and we know how painful that is.

BenefitsWeb having auth issues, and when you finally get in:

“Due to the increasing impact from the global pandemic and travel restrictions, there are fewer Service Center Representatives available, resulting in longer than usual wait times...”

1) no kidding. Wait for the India impact on other services
2) “global pandemic” is redundant, but it’s not like people know what it means with the news implying the word itself indicates crisis. Common cold is pandemic. So can’t fault the old X for not getting it when most others aren’t either. And don’t misinterpret me- this is serious, but not because it’s widespread but due to that and the other factors, primarily mortality rate and ease of transmission.
