It’s called “one way communication” and they do cause they don’t care what you think! Like the surveys....I always answer honestly it it doesn’t matter!
Email top tier management, that’s what I did! CC yourself and your boss! See what happens. If they retaliate, file a claim with the EEOC!
in reality though, anyone asking a question that the company can't come out looking like a rose is simply painting a target on their back for retaliation. If this is happening at Mondelez, its a shame but really it happens everywhere.
I'm trying to say that the questions asked at townhalls are often pre-scripted softballs or it something that will get you fired. The funniest are the companies that claim they don't plant questions to be asked. Yes, they do. I was told (not asked) to "ask these specific softball questions" when I was at HP and Intel.
