Job is being eliminated since October. All the phone reps were placed into roles where the managers weren’t. The last phone reps leave Friday. More than 15 managers remain and they still haven’t helped find us jobs but we aren’t being offered severance either. Still no clue what’s going to happen. Rejection after rejection for applications. Surrounding groups around us being eliminated too but finding jobs with help sooner and being offered severance.
Empty promises and now the email today about COVID-19 saying “our customers need you more than ever.” Get outta here. I have a husband and kids at home that need me.

There are plenty of jobs in the branches but most people won't consider that.

How about a little context? Phone Reps? In what line of business. What is with the people in these Chase comments.
Persevere and hang it there and wait for your severance.
