T-Mobile closed their call centers too. Plenty old coworkers from Verizon work there and are home and being paid for 2 weeks. They also don’t have any home base employees so they don’t have the equipment for peeps to work from home. If we worked for a company with less resources, then we’d be home.
Your store isn’t going to close...move on.
The best it’s gonna get is 2 managers 2 reps a day. Get over it.
If you don’t want to go to work call out. You’ll be the same people b–ching if you get laid off because of this. Do your job and stfu
We don't need store fronts on a normal day much less during a pandemic
Verizon would and should not close every location. We are a communication company and need stores open for emergency reasons . Now with that said stricter protocols need to be in place for customers and employees coming/ working in the stores. Backups and content transfers done off premises to start. Employee bathrooms off limits to customer's. Use counters and tables as barriers ( remember when someone thought it was a good idea to get rid of counters?) Now you understand why we need barriers and space.
Verizon senior leadership are a bunch of wanna be's. They want to be a change leader but just can never make the hard decision. They want to be like Apple and Nike. They show us videos of "risk to do the right thing" and human connection. Yet they are lacking those same attributes. Gather the board.... Time to put new leaders in place. This is the moment we point to when we say we should have seen the poor judgement and made a move. When you have to wait to see the right move (See Apple and T-Mobile) then you are done. And YOU ARE DONE. We are not risks to assess. Take your "Forward Together" shirt and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Close em all, people are getting numb
Verizon isn’t closing. Hans wants to line his pocketbooks with every last penny. Your safety means nothing to him. If he mentions shareholders or stakeholders one more time I’m a fn flip
