Why are the bonus payments being delayed. Is it to manage Q1 costs or is there a underlying problem

With regards to Post ID ending in CsBna,
900 m in savings is over 5 yrs not just in year 2020!

Heard of bonus before in OFD but since merger management not saying anything bout respecting hard working folks with monetary recognition.
Other than Jeff and frank likely no. Probably feels not great both will bank north of $50 mill this year ?
The reason they are delaying bonuses is to slow the flood of people leaving.
You really think anyone is getting either a bonus or pay increase this year? Fiserv needs to reduce expenses to make the promised 900m savings from merger.
We (OFD) were told that bonuses if given, will be paid on the first paycheck of March.
In general, management when stupid or pinching pennies hates a bonus. It is an expense that is already not applicable to a hard worker. Payroll is getting him or her a good salary of sorts - and Fiserv pays lousy - so why reward even more. Not needed. Delay common as money stays in the bank earning invested interest too.
What’s a bonus? Most people at Fiserv have never got a bonus so it’s hard to feel sorry for your delay.
