I know that FB is completely against remote working remotely. After KKR brought him into FD the first thing he did was eliminate those positions and force people into offices. Has this been communicated to all Fiserv staff?

Wasn't aware that OFD WFH people were abusing WFH with a 2nd gig. So now OFS people have to suffer because of management not giving their people enough pay and work to do.
In a fun twist, now remote work is mandatory!
Though most of the OFS remote employees are excellent contributors, unfortunately, some are abusing the privilege to work 100% remotely.
There are associates under OFS's "work" from home policy for the last 10 years straight, while proudly maintaining second gigs in parallel.. who have become very comfortable with the lucrative opportunity.. are now opposing the 'no WFH' policy at any cost..
Treating all remote working associates the same way is a great injustice to many honest and hard working partially remote associates.. first control the policy abusers before repealing the policy itself..
( working from home 100% while living within 15 miles of an office for more than a decade ?? )
BTW how are you doing on your day trading stocks you proudly mention during private conversations ..
Interesting how that was a non-issue when JY was in charge, but now FB is making the decisions it is an issue. JY agreed, in essence agreeing with FB that the way he ran the company was wrong.
Sad to see indeed. This entire board, all of the messages and postings, indicate a great company like Fiserv being eaten alive by FB and other executives who are gutting the culture and turning it into a replica of the mess that First Data is. They will absorb it, fire staff, and make a gazillion dollars for their pockets before moving on to another victim. Look at the messages!!!! Fiserv is being wiped off the face of the earth. JY has a second home and solid bank account, so he is gone. Workers? Get out NOW on your own dime before you are terminated. SAD indeed,
Sad to see.
@5qxw+13v3lYIT No, you have to remember the golden rule!
@5qxw+13v3lYIT of course not, they have reasons why they can work remotely. After all, they don’t need to collaborate with others, they tell everyone what to do. And then spy on them before a RIF without severance.
Will that apply to the executives that live at the beach or on boats. Neither of which are office locations
I heard today they are considering removing the Work From Home Policy completely.
Exceptions will not exist as your team may be working but they are not important and are simply carbon expense units. (Human beings that cost money). If your team is eliminated, money is saved, more $$$ for FB and no exceptions needed. Your team is toast.
I think there would be some exceptions as many on my team don’t work 9-5 so wouldn’t make sense to be in an office off hours.
Which areas had reductions? Offices? Still seems like a lot to do in Alpharetta.
Sounds like more leadership reductions occurred this week. Systematically removing the protection from the teams so that the true savings can start
Yes, it has been going out to all staff. I seems to depend on who you have for a SVP at the moment.
What's communcation?
