What Marvin gets or has gotten

In addition to his pay check here’s what Marvin gets or has gotten since joining Lowe’s (compare to what you have received since Marvin arrived)

Base pay of 1.45 million
Restricted Stock of 6 million
Stock options
4 weeks vacation
$12,000 annually for financial planning services (you would think a ceo would know how to manage money)

  1. 5 million in stock that will vest after he has been with Lowe’s 3 years

Bonus of up to 200% of his annual salary
The board has to consider him for the chairman’s position within 3 years
He can’t work for another home improvement retailer for two years if he quits

so i am coming up on 10 yrs next week and what do i get?...... a big pay cut and a choice of a tumbler set worth $34 (amazon price) or a Bulova watch that doesn't even show up on their website and it's spelled with a small "b". They value us, can't you tell?

That $5,000 an hour would be better spent on 500 additional associates at the top 500 stores.

You mean the fancy house he paid for after working 2 jobs while getting a college degree? Then starting at the bottom and working his way up to where he is now? Typical liberal responses thinking everything should be handed to you without the work.

Yes, today is my 6th day in a row! You're correct, the new schedule is an abysmal failure for customer service, and very unfair to employees. And a great deal of what is communicated weekly is BS.

However, I wouldn't blame it all on Marv. The architect behind most of the employees lousy treatment is good ole Joe McFarland

Here's what I received for being a 15+ yr longtime employee that helped build this company into the behemoth it is today. Over the last year: 7% of my promised annual pay stolen from me A hodgepodge schedule that may or may not give me a weekend off with my family every 2 or 3 months: Bold-faced lied to about not working more than six consecutive days in a row. Etc, etc etc...
