Folks at Easton packed their stuff, were given a 45 day working notice (on call), and their sups walked them out of the building. There was alot of wandering around in shock by the remaining people. It was terrifying to watch.
Was Business Banking, MMBSI or CCBSI impacted? Areas? Details?
I heard Milwaukee Tower Downtown has an all hands call @ 2 pm, but no layoffs yet
Who's affected? Business, technology or both?
Yes no notices were given. However, they’re about to still work with a recruiter. Don’t know how many but Easton was hit pretty good. Emotional day.
*escourted
Whoever commented that Easton gets a 30 day notice is wrong. Layoffs happened this morning, they packed up and management encouraged them out of the building. This is how it always goes.
Easton just got hit. I’m safe thankfully however there are many who were not. :(
Security may be on alert because even though people are getting notice(in my case it was 45 days not 30), said people may not be too happy about being canned and may act out.
I was told at the end of the day so they got a full day of work out of me first.
In Downers grove and so far nothing
I can confirm SHOC layoffs underway. Default Servicing. Witnessed walk out with my own eyes.
Chase Auto in Wilmington, DE just got the hard notice. Then we were told to get back to work.
Classic Chase!
The Easton comment doesn't fit the usual pattern: People being RIF'd get 30 days notice and are allowed to look for jobs internally.
Someone being escorted out likely resigned to work at a competitor.
Nothing has happened yet in Tempe
In TX DFW AREA nothing to report
I was on a phone call when I pulled into the Columbus Easton office lot about 20 minutes ago. Notified security guards walking the parking lot at heightened alert. I guess it wasn't fake news.
VP and AVP in office at least an hour earlier than normal SHOC. Withholding department name for anonymity
Columbus, Easton
What location?
Already witnessed someone being walked out. This is a horrible feeling!! Don’t know what department.
