The layoffs happened earlier this morning at our Plano site in Texas. The department started with over 400 people in 2015 now we down to about 25 after today. Our AVP had flooring meeting and said the cut will continue and most likely another round in June. They expected to outsource any remaining positions over to Philippine. She advised to apply outside of department or gain other skills beside consumer lending.

Listen guys Chase Retail Home Lending uses 1988 technology to do home loans, they will always be last place lender, they should just concede and save hundreds of millions of dollars, offer 6% and you won't be forced to make any home loans by the Feds .
I am in the Lewisville location and was told that I was apart of the 2/6/20 layoff group. We were told that we will work 45 days and a talent HR associate will try to find us another position within the bank or we will get our severance package after the 45 days which would be March 22nd.
Which areas were hit, aside from Asset Management?
"Consumer Lending" is the umbrella covering Card, Auto and Mortgage.

They layed off people in Asset Management as well.
Good grief. Chase doesn't have "Consumer Lending." We have Mortgage, Home Equity, Auto, and Credit Cards. Also have business and commercial, but that is a different division altogether. Perhaps the "consumer lending" person will reply and be specific about what division they worked in.
