Are all clubs doing this. Won’t help at my club. Half the time the front doors are not shut all the way we’re people can just pull them open. Also closing receiving forget to lock the back at least a few times a week. Told managers and team leaders but they don’t seem to care.

@1ddl it's not layoff related but we are using this site form many things that help all of us.
i've been on the site three years now and it's useful to exchange all kinds of info (wages, pto, scheduling, roles, etc)
fire hazard
LOL! Pretty sure the six of us can walk out the door without tripping over each other. .
You all can rest now effective immediately we will no longer block doors. If there’s a fire you can now just trip over each other to get out😂
My store, they block both entrance and exit plus the lock up cage.
How is any of this layoff related?
And while we're on the subject of stupid ideas, let's talk about taking every item, including the bulky stuff, out of the cart and putting the junk on the belt, except of course the heavy stuff.
Toilet paper and towels slide so easily across the tiny scanning window.
This idiocracy slow the lines down, while team leads try desperately to speed lines up. Makes perfect sense. The work is physically hard, harder than working in a factory. Cashiers quit at alarming rates, so there's never the number of cashiers needed to keep lines down.
All of this while members go to the self check and scan everything on a flatbed. Nothing missed there. ha ha ha
Don't forget about scan and go carts heaped to overflowing with items. All that gets scanned. Sure does.
It's ridiculous.
(Side note. Should have seen how fast cashiers quit when they had to transfer flatbed after flatbed of waters/sodas/dog foods from one flatbed to another. At least that's one stupid idea they gave up on.)
Right, they can't get bigger stuff out. Out any fire exit. They hold people at gunpoint, you really think they would care if an alarm sounded?
It's more so a robber cant get bigger stuff out....
Nothing they do makes sense. If someone wants to rob our store, they'll come in the way we do. Slide the door open and walk in. Serves the company right for getting rid of night crew.
Eventually I hope we install rolling doors like Costco has. That would save us so much time.
i was told 30 clubs have been robbed since they got rid of over nights ..if they want to come rob us they are going to walk in just like we do ..doesnt make sense
My Club been putting pallets of water infront the entrance doors before the night crew leaves for the last two months
it's a fire hazard. Let the fire marshal know and you won't have to do it for long.
