I don’t know anyone who is happy at Follett. Maybe we should decrease our sales further by making stores do more with less of a labor budget during the most lucrative time of the year. Let’s throw in some extra tasks, just in case everyone isn’t already worked to death, as well. No problem. Excellent way to run this misery ship into the ground. Bravo

Not only that, every employee who worked on the eFollett project got a project bonus for doing their job!. This is in addition to any other bonus they received for company performance.
I'm amused that there are senior vp's in the Ivory Tower that got bonus checks based on how they saved the family money (and increased dividends) but gutting the stores of an essential resource to make the store profitable - dedicated employees. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind...
Would like to be a fly on the wall at one of the family's super secret meetings, bet a lot of bitter recriminations eh?
