Some BM’s in retail banking packaged. They’re eliminating customer facing roles. Closing retail branches and making companion branches. Want one BM to manage 2-3 sites.

Notification will come from a VP or higher and will be in verbal format with trailing documentation to follow.

How are they telling the staff? Does the manager communicate it or do you receive a generic email the morning it happens?

They are laying off people this week to pay for the boss’ off site in Florida which is happening this week also. People losing their jobs while they’re loading up on lobster and booze! That’s a new strategic priority this year.

LOL...I love it when the press knows before the employees. Great for moral. But ethics is something the new leaders don't have. What do you expect from managers that have their cell phone on their desks and check/comment on social media or text to friends while in meetings?

I can confirm SHOC and various other Phoenix locations will see reductions Thursday 02/06. Home Lending as a whole. All encompassing. Chase is positioning themselves to finance then sell immediately. Servicing will no longer be a necessity as loans will be sold off to aggregate companies.

More notices supposedly going out Feb 6. Chase likes to do it on a Thursday and tell you to stay home the next day to process it all over a long weekend. I hope everyone gets the outcome they want.

I have been at Chase 7 years. I want the lay-off notice at this point. It’s too many questions and the stability is not there. I am with refi at the Downtown Milwaukee location.

CCB going to see heavy hits. Any part of servicing that can be replaced with a bot is open season.
