Some companies already get their products from middle men like them which would obviously become the alternative to warehouse delivery once DSP is cut.

Yes, there are plenty of third party distributors that can more than easily take the load of Mondelez dsd! Kroger has their own warehouse as does WM. The “we are too big” theory is laughable!

DSP?
Stores have options, regardless of size. Mondelez cannot dictate where they get their product! I have a store that is dsd and every time they get cut new items, they pull from secondary supplier. They also sometimes get better deals from them. Not a thing Mondelez can do! It would be a violation of fair trade to tell them they can’t buy elsewhere.
There are a lot of stores that are too small to qualify for dsd, they still sell Mondelez! Third party suppliers. I have dsd stores that use third party for warehouse (independent grocers). Sometimes they pull Mondelez from them if they get a better price
