https://finance.yahoo.com/news/democratic-lawmakers-target-boeing-and-faa-204545950.html

Boeing had a 'conspiracy' and needs a 'real house cleaning':
Lawmakers in Washington DC are considering a range of options to combat
what critics describe as failed safety culture at The Boeing Company.

They are homing in on the flawed relationship between the company and the
FAA. A group of Democratic Senators led by Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT)
Introduced a bill last week seeking to reform the FAA’s role in certifying U.S.
Aircraft.

"Essentially a Conspiracy"

In January, Boeing released hundreds of embarrassing internal messages
Suggesting the company was attempting to avoid regulatory scrutiny over
A new anti-stall system in its 737 Max known as MCAS.
Those emails also suggested employees doubted that system’s safety.

Boeing’s managing director for marketing, Darren Hulst, described how
the epidemic has curtailed air traffic in China and Asia. On Jan. 6, he said,
more than 3,250 flights originating in China connected more than 850 city
pairs worldwide.
On Feb. 21, less than seven weeks later, only about 700 such flights took off,
connecting 240 city pairs. Hulst added that many of the February flights were
air cargo; if only passenger service were counted, the slowdown
“would be even more dramatic.”

The Headline:
The Boeing Max crashes have revived decades-old fears about what happens
When airplane computers become more powerful than pilots

For the 737, the primary control will have to be the pilot
That has always been the centerpiece of this aircraft, it is its legacy.
Sounds like gibberish to even have to say that, it’s been in service that long.

Layoffs in the Puget Sound area along with the large layoffs in the Wichita area
and many other regions around the country are the beginning of a socioeconomic
downturn facing the aerospace industry in this country.

The trust given to Boeing by the FAA the DOJ and the Congress has been broken.
Boeing’s Management Malfeasances, has develop into one of the most grievous Threats to our National Security, our Economic Stability and National Interests.

I cannot think of another instance in history as serious as Boeing’s Malfeasances.
Pearl Harbor comes to mind: That’s the level of threat I see for the future if
Boeing is allowed to continue operations with the current Board of Directors and other high ranking managers in place.

All of those involved in the 737 Max’s convoluted and fraudulent endeavor,
Whether they are FAA management or even members of Congress should be prosecuted and held accountable for the harm they have caused. All should be removed from office and barred from ever holding a position of trust again.
Our nation cannot afford such actors. The 737 Max fraud was perpetrated on the
Global aviation industry every corporation who purchased a Max was defrauded.
In doing so Boeing attacked the Economic Stability of other countries,
Accordingly attacking their socioeconomic stability and there National Interests.

This Was No Accident Boeing Management Knew and the FAA Management Knew

Boeing Shops $10 Billion Loan at Price Similar to Older Debt

The company is marketing the loan as it weighs another cut to production
of its marquee 787 Dreamliner amid sluggish demand for its twin-aisle jet.
The new loan is expected to wrap up this week, said the people.
The lender group is expected to be smaller than that on its revolving
facilities, they added. Around 35 lenders participated in Boeing’s
existing credit lines.

The $10 billion size of the new loan may increase if participation interest
from banks exceeds the target size, the people said. Boeing has already
borrowed $21.5 billion of new debt since the crash of its first Max planes
in Indonesia in October 2018.

The fresh funding comes as Boeing contends with reimbursing customers,
keeping suppliers afloat and maintaining about 400 newly built Max that
it can’t deliver.

The latest loan would bring the total debt of the Max program to 31.5b
Against the receivables of 400 Max aircraft (yes I know we have more)

At 2 million net-profit per plane that gives us 800 million dollars
31,500,000,000 – 800,000,000 this leaves only $30,700,000,000
To be worked off, i.e. 15,350 Max aircraft need to be built and sold.
If we burn through All of That $31,500,000,000 in credit
Estimates vary from 8 billion to 24 billion for Max monetary damages.
