How many customers are allowed in your store at a time? Mine in IL went from 50 to 100 to 200 now. They keep increasing it without any of the laws changing.

To the person below that yelling at us for how bass pro has handled the coronavirus. Your right things are opening up again and there are going to be other jobs. I was offered several management positions that pay more and have more integrity then bass pro and will be accepting the position when things fully open up again.

Until then I will milk Johnny for as much money as I can. I work longer then I should getting unapproved OT because we are so short-staffed they can't fire me. Management won't right me up because they know the situation and optics of writing someone up when you don't have the staff to handle 100 customers in the store just looks bad.

Even if they do fire me guess what my unemployment comes out of Johnny's pocket plus I get an extra 600 a week.

So until my new position with another company is ready I will continue to milk the clock and Johnny's money letting customers know how horrible the conditions are. In fact a customer today asked my opinion on two products and which one I would by I told them neither because they are made in China, and I support America, not Communism country that spread diseases.

So do me a favor after you read this turn to Johnny and let him know what a dumb a– he is

To all you people whe hate working at Basspro so much. Get a job at Walmart I hear they are hiring. Basspro doesn't need a bunch of worthless ungrateful people like you. If that's too ESSENTIAL of a business for you then try McDonald's. In other words get the hell out of basspro. In case you haven't heard, most every place is reopening. So, you have lots of options.

It’s amazing that the travel company and sunglass hut, both inside of the great Johnny Morris stores closed down while the Johnny Morris employees worked. How thoughtful you are Johnny Morris. I hope you burn in hell!!!!! You have done ABSOLUTELY nothing for your employees. Did you give them anything extra for staying on board? NO! The only thing you gave us was a better chance of getting sick, all while we sell your foreign made, subpar products. Can you please remove the name Cabela’s from everything because Jim and D–k would never have done what you and your cronies have done. If you don’t burn in hell and happen to fall off your boat, I pray your pockets are full of blood money and you sink to the bottom. You are worthless and have no heart.

I find this very interesting. Monday, May 4th Missouri Opened up. The first stop Governor Mike Parson visited was Bass Pro in Springfield. Now here are some facts. Mike Parson was a sheriff in that area. Mike Parson is good friends with Johnny Morris. Think about that.

My question now is how much money did Johnny donate to Mike Parsons Campaign for election this year while cutting employee salaries? How much influence did Johnny have in keeping his stores open in Missouri when they should have been shut down? Was there a promise of campaign donations to Parson election if he did not shut down bass pro?

If you do not think this has become Political then wake up people, wake up.

Just some things to think about and hopefully, someone can investigate.

I can tell you bass pro does not care about the well being of its employees. Here is an example of how much they care about the health of their employees.

I worked at the Hazelwood MO Cabela's when BP bought Cabela's. We had to restructure our Management team to fit the Bass Pro Model. One of our managers was on leave for Cancer Treatment, they called him in just to fire him and basically said good luck with your Cancer.

So if your employee of Bass Pro and get Covid-19 my guess is they are going to find away to let you go and say good luck.

Hello everyone, I’d like to give a huge shout out to Johnny!!! I’m so glad that your heart is so large and kind. I’m so appreciative of all of the face masks that you have given to your employees, especially those on your front line!! Oh, that’s right, you never pulled through. You did, however, supply Ohio County WV Health Department with 6,000 of them!! You heartless piece of worthless c-ap!!! I pray that when you think you’re passing through the pearly gates that the good Lord slams it in your face. You deserve to rot with the devil. And once jobs open up, I’m gone from your business. Oh and yes, I’ve actually told customers, while I’m on payroll, just how uncaring you and your corporate people are. There you go, pay me to tell YOUR customers what a slug you actually are!!!

COVID-19 crisis isn’t over so jm you and your gun running buddies can’t breathe easy yet. Sometimes you have to prove to hardheads and id–ts by letting them have it their way. In a couple weeks when everyone is sick they will be wanting to shut down again. These people are all a bunch of dumb–ses. Its all good and all to have a great economy except you dead and can’t spend your money.

Yes, but it doesn't get JM off the hook for keeping what stores he could open during this crisis.

We’ve been open the whole time too but you can’t blame him for RE-opening stores when restrictions are being lifted and business are opening back up. That’s a little ridiculous. Get mad all you want but blame your governors and your mayors for those ones.

So we’re supposed to be open by next weekend? Bunch of b—s—. It’s going to be a sad awakening when the second wave hits. Bass Pro won’t care though, they’ll still be sitting at home on their lazy sorry asses “working” from there. Also, who else read the letter Johnny DumbFuck Morris sent out? That was a whole bunch of horse sh–. F— Bass Pro. F— Johnny Morris.

Cincinnati store has been a breeding ground since Early March. Health department called they came in and shut down water fountains, closed urinals to just one. They still come in droves, over the limited amount of people especially this past weekend. Sales are indeed happening but so it the spread of this virus. There are no other stores open for these selfish people to go... so they come and bring kids. No masks except one older outfitter who also wears gloves. Management doesn’t care as long as they aren’t burdened with anything! Let’s go look at the fish and sit on the atv’s or get in and out of the boats. There’s nothing else to do today.

The $9.79 that they pay in Florida. Isn't worth risking your lives at all. They don't give very many hours. Who the hell cares if we ever go back. To be honest. A real big happy family is b—s—. They don't care about your life. Lies.

This reopening is going to be a disaster hide and watch. Give it 10-14 days and ER’s will be filled to capacity. We will have to shut down again then repeat until da’s figure out we are going to have to do it the “ Asian “ way until until a vaccine comes about. Stay apart. Testing. More testing. Temp checks etc. That Ga Governor I have doubts about his judgment calls regarding life and death. Lindsey Graham was even questioning his competence. Everyone is going to have to go back into hiding again. Maybe these da will soon figure out this is a cycle and that our entire way of life has to change for awhile and let’s figure out how to make that happen instead of do something that we know can’t anymore and is UNSAFE FOR EVERYONE.

If you all want to see something insane you should see the Cincinnati store! It's an accident waiting to happen. They put up a few signs and slapped some blue tape on the ground called it finished! No one ensures the customers are staying 6' apart and so the id–ts get right on top of each other. The store assistant manager gets right in your grille showing no respect. Talk about being promoted to your level of incompetence! Hope your stor7e has better management (can't use the term leadership here). Stay safe!

Our county allows our store to have 20% of our maximum occupancy which comes out to about 550* customers. We haven’t started to limit customers because we haven’t gotten anywhere close to that.

Savannah had almost 200 people in the store at one time yesterday. Our GM actively took down the dividers and distance tape and told front end not to count. This is a conscious decision. He put his employees at risk so the store would make more money. This company does not give a damn about you or your health. Your GMs are probably like mine and being told to open the flood gates to get as much of that stimulus money as they can, heedless to the risk to their employees

Every day John Sargent sends us a quote of the day for all leads and managers in an email. I have one he can pass back to Johnny Morris.

“Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful”
― Warren Buffett

It saddens me, being from the Ozarks myself how Johnny has behaved this is not the Ozark way and he knows it and he also knows an a– whooping is in order for his behavior. Many of our families helped Johnny out when he first started in his daddies liquor store and he seemed to forget that.

When this virus mess is over I have already had job offers and business opportunities with other companies, I will happily leave this company and never be a customer of theirs again.

We know Jim Cabela would have shut the stores down. He was more concerned about his employees than profit.

In regards to the COVID-19 case at Cabela’s in Gonzales Louisiana that I previously commented on I contacted Cabela’s headquarters and spoke with a member of the COVID-19 team. They assured that they know about the case and have taken deep sanitation precautions in the area that they employee worked and they are working on a pre-screening process for employees. I also talk to an employee at the store and the individual that contracted COVID-19 has not Been in the store for two weeks

Cabela’s at Gonzales La has case of COVID-19 announced today to the employees. My child works at that location. He said all The store management commented on was that they were increasing sanitation and it was communicated on a white board not verbally. No screening of employees, no information to let employees know if they may have had close contact, no deep cleaning of area infected employee worked, no notice to public entering the store.
