An extra kicker performance bonus? Past years once in a while there was individual performance bonus doled out. Anyone?

Always been in management. Always loved getting those emails about the bonus that doesn't apply to my position. Kinda like a grazing shot to the junk.
The extra kicker is for Management employees. It’s had different names through the years, an IDA, then KPI, now the IPI. It has not been discontinued but please check your management plan. I’ve gotten one multiple times.
I got one almost every year I was at AT&T except one year when I had a new boss. It’s funny because that year I worked harder and smarter than I ever had. Go figure!

So you have posted the same thing twice now and have been incorrect both times. Literally, every single thing in your post is erroneous. Stop it.
I got it every year until 2 years ago, and no one in my dept ieither. It’s usually $4k-6k and has been canceled. That was discontinued. Also management bonuses are not 20% for L1 and 12% for L2 they were reduced to 8.6% and 10.6%. Several years ago. Look at your YTR. You really should watch the required videos for Leading with Distinction. They tell you clearly there is no extra money. They have been clear about it for since after we got the $1000 -Pay attention man!
IPI = Individual Performance Incentive, still exists. It is a management "kicker" that your Boss awards to those he feels deserve it, though he is limited on how many he can award. Used to be referred to as "KPI" (Key Performer Incentive) a few years back. I got it every year under my old Boss, been with this one 3 years... and Nada, zip, zero. Oh well.
You get the kicker bonus for kicking people underneath you out and sending their jobs to india.
It has always existed and if you don't know about it, you are not your boss's favorite.
The kicker has been replaced by “the kick”.

Why do you think there would be ANY sort of kicker performance bonus when Ratty and Stinky can use that $ to enrich themselves and buy another corporate jet to go to golf and award shows?
The last "extra" bonus was the $1000 they gave out to second level and below when the Trump tax cuts were enacted.
