Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

How many people work in a typical Walmart store?

What's the overall number of people that a medium size store employs?

They ( HR) always say 400 per store, They always have the excuse we are short-handed. That place will always have a high turn over.

The way one best way schedules, maybe 2 or 3 associates on the sales floor, and like 2 actual cashiers, with 25 self scans open.

Depending on the volume of sales typically dictates how many associates your store will have...

For example a store that generates about forty million dollars in sales will probably be able to support wages for 150 to 180 people.

Typically they target about 250K in revenue per employee, so if you do 40M/250K that gives you about 160 employees.

This is not exact science this is only how I calculate things for my self and I am typically fairly close.

Maybe others can chime in, this is my method only.
