Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Cool

Someone needs to Make State Farm Great Again. But, at this point, that's unlikely to happen!

Is Accenture taking over some business areas or call centers or support?? Another third party integration and hand off of so.

Basically what happened is that State Farm wanted to be GEICO, I went to An interview with them , I was not impressed, they were obsessed with numbers, metrics and get this the tracking of their employees, State Farm made a mistake when they thought they needed to be GEICO to survive and now it’s suffering, it’s a shame, they had the good neighbor service to survive and fend off GEICO. this was started under the regime of Ed Rust, Tipsord could have changed course if he wanted to but he doubled down......smh it’s a shame, State Farm went down because they wanted to be a competitor.........and they never should have never built the hubs

fF9r. You are absolutely right. Before I retired, i could not believe how low they took the company. I used to feel sorry for the people still working there. I don't anymore because they do have better choices.

State Farm is permanently ruined, it will never be great again because all that made it great has left the company. The downfall of the State Farm consciousness has already commenced years ago. It's a shame. Then they continue on pretending that it's great as it ever was, that nothing has culturally changed at that company. Still pretending it's a great career with a pension, and a "family". It's really just full of executives and consultants that think they are the "intelligentsia", and that the everyman that actually works in their claims gulag, underwriting departments, and other contact centers at their company don't have enough "gray matter" to be anything else but the robot android they were trained to be. Kind of like that billionaire that thinks he can just buy an election and that farmers are simpletons, and I don't mean the president.
