If you can't sell it and you lose 4-5 million customers a year, when does the shutting down of certain sites begin?

Time to update my resume and iron my job interview shirt. It was a good run for 11 years. 7 years with DTV 4 with ATT. Had the opportunity to lead 2 very awesome Teams and some really great people. Will miss the people and the customers. We met and exceeded any and every goal that was thrown at us and our people are the best.
The writing's been on the wall for a long while.
There are those who read it, and those who avert their gaze.
Right now our area is down to serving Latino families kicked off Dish for non-payment and 80 year old ladies still on their dead husbands DTV plan. Hardly what I would call a "growth industry".
As for the "rurals" - Verizon is fast rolling out their 5G Fixed Wireless in my rural areas - which by the way are very wealthy people living on large country estates and quite familiar with streaming options.
Uverse and Directv offers have stopped, and directv will only be sold to customers who do not live in an internet coverage location. All lineups and packages have been reformed to the new streaming product.
Once UVerse and DTV are shutdown, AT&T will effectively be done as a video company. No one is going to sign up for a ridiculous contract for a poorly designed streaming box when the competition offers better service for a much better price.
What's left of our DTV and TW Media acquisitions will be useless without a popular media platform while our glorious leaders, Randy and Stanky, have neglected our copper assets and made the minimal legally agreed upon investments in fiber. The only thing this company will have left will be their fake 5g wireless!

I think in the next 2 years if not sold, you will see certain sites being shut down. Too much cost involved in the satellite operation to justify some of them. It looks like AT&T will push streaming as their main TV source. Once Directv loses the NFL package (2022), the main subscriber base will be mainly rural customers.
