US Bank has been slow to react to the virus outbreak. They are now doing restructuring to prepare for a mass layoff. It seems some departments are preparing to be absorbed. Developers have now been asked to freeze any updates or fixes to the application and website as there is no. Ack up plan should the install or updates go wrong. Some employees have been given the opportunity to work from home though. A lot of the discussions are hush. Managers talk though and the other staff hears it.
Meeting on the coronavirus today.
They’ve limited non essential travel and meetings, branches have been outfitted with some tools to help keep them safe. However we are working with the general public and as long as we are human, us humans will make mistakes. Being asymptomatic for such a long time contributes to the dynamic on how many people can be exposed before you start to show symptoms. It’s going to get worse before it gets better and it will not be too much longer before a bank, maybe not our bank, but a bank will be impacted and have to be shut down and a forced deep cleaning happening
No meetings or training for a while...just announced
