I see job postings, but for my state its the lowest I have ever seen since starting several years ago. I normally check once a month just to see what's out there.
I used to refer friends who are looking for something new. From what I've personally seen, they would fill a position and will turn around and layoff the new person off 3 months later.
I guess what better way to make it "look" like the company is growing, is to have job posting.
