Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Admitting you made a mistake is at least a start. Stinky wants to sell DTV to Dish.

It’s happening. It only took making T the biggest debt holder on earth, thousand of ruined lives, millions of customer leaving and talented leaving in droves.

Sounds like a merger similar to Sirius & XM. It had to be done or satellite radio couldn't survive. I doubt the Justice Dept would allow At&t to own Dish/Directv though, Dish would probably have to be the buyer, my uneducated guess.

Not sure they know what they’re doing. One day it’s for sale the next it’s a merger that the control. If they could merger with Dish and keep controlling interest that’s probably more likely than selling to a company with a lower market share. They’ll just keep pushing their AT@T TV junk and if you’d rather have a dish on your house then so be it. Only thing they really care about is getting as much info on as many people as they can. Every town hall it’s BIG DATA this and BIG DATA that and we need more info on our subscribers to target junk ads to them.
All they care about is controlling the data and selling targeted ads to unsuspecting consumers.

Now that att got streaming now from it they can throw it out.

Love the way Stankey says they are open to it like he will be doing whoever buys it a favor and that it was never a mistake to buy it.

Well dang! I really enjoyed Direct TV at the rate of $10.00 a month. I’ll be cutting the cord as soon as they sell.

Dish is going to be getting into the wireless business now that TMO/ Sprint is happening. They aren’t really looking to expand their satellite TV biz, I wouldn’t think.

Dish is already a sinking ship when it comes to satellite. Why would they want another sinking ship.
