To Post ID: @4vcr+13CTv5zz. You were told wrong.
I was told most savings not actual, just manipulation on savings to try make mms look good
Just a thought but are the savings an actual savings i.e hard evidence on the books or a soft estimate of savings they think mms generates? Just asking cuz I don't know
to Post ID: @3vmv+13CTv5zz. I think they are learning about MMS because that dept saves the company a lot of money and it's more money to line Senior Management's wallet.
To: Post ID: @3vmv+13CTv5zz - That’s hilarious!!! And true!!! Thanks for the laugh.
AIG is an equal opportunity employer. They RIF people without regard to their value to the company. Upper management probably doesn’t even know what MMS stands for.
If MMS goes, so does a lot of the savings that AIG realizes and Customers as a result of utilizing the MMS Programs. I think they will be one of the last to have RIF's.
First the cars, then the jobs!
I'm part of MMS and I say bring it on. MMS saves money so it won't be as big as other departments. I don't really believe that much of MMS will be performanced out as the post says, but on the other hand I don't doubt that there will be some RIF's. MMS is a very close nit group and most wouldn't be shocked if there were a few RIF's.
