Bet he wouldn’t feel that way anymore if we told him honestly what we think about him.
mcrotten looks like an elf.
emphasize......uh no. I think you meant “empathize” brother. Is English your second language?
Does collaborate mean we have to get work done? Or just talk about work and blame it on the other guy?
just your typical corporate shill bs. Look anyone who thinks a multimillionaire executive can emphasize with front line employees or has compassion for your daily toil, is very naive.
Everyone here know how the game is played, all the corporate platitudes of honesty, ethics are just that meaningless platitudes. You want to hear what really matters listen to their earnings call , and you'll hear what's really going on. All these new 3 year plan blah blah was stated in last year's 4th quarter call months before we got the formal emails.
keep playing your role, but know thats all it is.
How to collaborate when Development is in India, IBM SE's work from home, Process is in Europe etc ? We collaborate on the phone and before 12:00PM due to time differences....The rest of the day actual work gets done.
I wish it wasn’t the case, but it’s every man for himself in this game of musical chairs. If they want us to focus on something other than self-preservation, they need to bring back a culture of reasonable job security.
Clueless dweebs like McSelfish think you can have a collaboration culture in an environment where people can't depend on not getting laid next quarter. Why would anyone with not a smidgen of job security collaborate? What does it buy you? Besides making you more replaceable.
Oh absolutely!! One way honesty. The more they know about an employee the more they can use against the employee to fire them.
Listening to employees???? Never!
