Such a tiny percent of money is made from marketing & licensed product- how did we ever justify all those executive salaries?

Pretty dumb comments. I work in CP and got laid off today. It’s not all about revenue, the division really drives awareness of properties which in turn drives ad money, subscriptions, etc.

No need to be mean. Spongebob has been lucrative. But It is still very upsetting that really good creative smart people are being laid off while less than stellar stale execs stick around and collect their EVP pay checks.
Yes.... this is true... the CP group, unfortunately, never made much headway over the years.... each year in 20 years of meetings that I attended the business team would show the little sliver of the CP market that Nick owned.... and it wasn’t much.... it never really grew...
I have never purchased one spongebob product or know anyone who has. The company inflates those figures to make themselves look more profitable.
