Once upon a time, there was Bell Labs, a pinnacle of technology , accidentally discovering the afterglow of the universe’s birth, before lunch.
Now... Even the U.S. president can’t spell, can’t form a coherent sentence, thinks science is a sham, and denies scientific truths.

I totally agree. STEM should be geared to all young kids. We have to start very young - when the children are toddlers. Both male and females should benefit for STEM program. USA can use as many professionals related to STEM jobs due to the shortage in engineering. At this point, 5G is so behind in USA because the USA gov't did nothing for those companies such as Motorola and Lucent that were working on wireless networks. Those companies were not saved and got sold out to foreign companies. It's a shame that there are no USA companies that make the basestations. We are so dependent on foreign companies. Trump should think about encouraging Apple and Google to get into the base station development business. This is the only way USA can be independent of foreign companies like Huawei, Nokia, Samsung, ZTE, and Ericsson.
