There have been a lot of small acquisitions. That could account for some of the additional headcount.
As far as I can see, they are also hiring in India, etc. My understanding is that they can get 4 developers in India for one in the U.S. That would increase headcount.
Class of kids and hubsters is where a lot of hiring occurred.
ok this confusing 5 years ago. Oracle had 120k and now in 2019 it is 136k now granted it add 15k in 5 years with all the mass exodus and the 25k lay-off from what the mod is tracking. Granted they inherited 5k from netsuite. Still they added 2k a year....how?
Looks like about 450 people or so?
@13570UoG-1sxz - posting or reading.
Probably plenty of people reading this site without posting.
I am hearing that some folks who were told they are being laid off will not be repurposed. This is a classic example of the knife coming in and people saying ohhh sh*t we can't get rid of that person - we need to keep them!
Be careful. I am sure they can look at the access logs for Aria to widdle down who might be posting here.
If you work for the company you know where to get these numbers from.
