nobody is stopping you from stretching. you can even stretch more than once and during the same shift. H el l do it 10 times who will stop you. stop complaining and stretch all you want. you can even do them out of order and even make up new one’s. just do it! but don’t blame NS for your inability to read between the lines. they didn’t say don’t stretch they told us to do it if needed. so i say it’s needed several times a day. now do you get it mr stretchy???

I’ve never heard of a 15 minute break before at least not at JLS. We are given a 10 minute break and a 20 minute lunch.

okay BNSF is not publicly traded also has had rather large layoffs 4600 in 2016 and several smaller ones. the 2019 operating ratio was 64.8 much like the other class 1’s. time will tell if they move to psr. that said all class 1’s have different version of psr so we shall see. any company will try to keep shareholders happy it’s about money not people never was or will be. i speculate BNSF a private company not like UP, CSX, NS will roll out cuts soon. it’s now expected because they can do it. don’t get me wrong it’s not sustainable and it will weed out the weak.

Are you forgetting BNSF they aren’t doing it because that man in charge knows this is just a short game where only a select few win at the detriment of a hole industry just look at mantle ridge did at CSX got our fill picked the bone clean get out . That my friend is not a good long standing business model keep on believing what the company heads are telling fool

it’s a for profit company! what did you expect? what one class 1 does so does all class 1. it’s called competition. they will cut until they hit 60 OR. you ever own a business? if so then you understand what is going on here with PSR. it stinks but it is what it is and we can’t stop it union or not we are just a contract to NS.

YES the same union that let them force us to work through break. Must been on a golf outing with the company or the health insurance carrier that lines some of there pockets I have heard . weight rule gone be thankful one less rule if you ask me. if you lift too much then your S tu Pid anyway. stretching exactly what stretch was going to prevent an injury? did you stretch off the clock? if not then you agree it did nothing. be thankful one less thing management isn’t looking at that you do. grow up!
