Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

What's the Latest?

I don't work anywhere near an office so I am very far removed from any news or office morale that might be going on. Not much going on here does anyone have any updates on when layoffs might begin with ernest? Especially if you are remote?

Work for First Data and was told this week to begin preparing for leadership alignment. We've done these in the past and everyone who manages people must have a certain number. If you don't have the required number of people reporting to you, you get realigned as a non-manager or let go. Just a heads up to anyone on the First Data side that manages people, the number will be higher than 5.

I'm sure the "layoffs" will stay under the proper numbers since they are publicly traded. Random firings will continue!

I heard that is a mandate to cut jobs for from each business unit to cover the cost of the limited raises and would expect a round of layoffs in Feb.

“In earnest”?

It will be a continual trickle throughout 2020. Probably several hundred a month.
