Anyone else having trouble hiring cashiers? It's like the location is either just too far for them or they never return your call back. What is going on?!?! Is this next generation really that lazy that they don't even want to work. This is getting ridiculous. Getting tired of running my store 15-20hours under budget every week. Anyone else have this problem? Been a manager with CVS for 6 years now and i've never had this much trouble hiring before.

Sorry people need a living wage and CVS does not offer cashiers that. Aetna bumped all low wage employees up to a minimum of $16.00 an hour years ago. They actually cared about their employees. CVS does not.
Its CVS...who in Their right mind would want to work in These stores??no support no payroll no engagement and a bunch of leaders who never had to do the job but love to tell you how to do it.

What do you expect? Nobody wants to work at CVS anymore. Especially when they get a taste of what’s expected of them. Working at cvs is like slave labor.
Nothing drops in my reqs so I go out and recruit or use indeed to post for jobs. Recruiting is typically more luck if you target even lower paying jobs.
Unemployment is at an all time low, but in reality there is an enormous excess of low paying, entry level jobs keeping those numbers so low. Paradoxically, inflation is also very low at the moment.
Blame the leaders of corporations in all fields that refuse to increase wages despite the shortage of workers.
It’s because their employer would eventually be CVS. The reputation of working here is poor. Most people apply to several jobs and I’m sure they accepted their top of the list opportunities already.

I wish I had the hours to hire. Haven’t had to hire in 2 years. Everytime someone quits they cut hours so...

NO ONE wants to work for this F'd up company !!!! And yes this generation is that lazy the work load they put on "just a cashier" is ridiculous!!!!
