A rebranding should happen. Instead of Valiant Labs why not call it what it is- the department where the leader does nothing and takes credit for other departments work. Why the hell are we still paying for this pet project. This leader definitely has failed forwards for years.

Original question still unanswered. What do they do? What, after several years, do they have to show for their work? Is there even a failure to point to? Because I am unaware of a failed project, let alone a successful one.
They spend millions. They talk a great game. They produce nothing of value to the company. Repeat.
I was hoping to see someone post something that this team does. Such a big team and budget.
Doubt the new CEO will have much patience for the vaporware that valiant “produces”. VL leader produces a big pile of steaming nothing while in SB&I and her output has decreased exponentially with valiant.

VL hasn’t been doing it and if can’t now, get rid of it.
Now would be a perfect time to cut this loose. Blame it on the virus, give her cover. Redirect millions to revenue generating parts of company.
