As company dynamics transforms I elected for the MVO, but I felt pushed out as did co-workers who elected the MVO. Management began processing exit admin. requirements before our option date to pull back our decisions and they were not available to discuss. The Midwest T leadership is transparent when they rarely come to the office....we didn't receive as little as a good-bye or good-luck after devoting a good % of our lives to T...20 years of corporate ethics/moral training is clearly extinct in the Midwest.

2yjs is correct. a lot of people did not have a choice, hence the bitterness.
If you felt pushed out after volunteering for MVO, think about how it felt for those who didn't want to leave and were surplused.
Thank you for all you did.
Well, you volunteered to leave, soo.... yes, they are pushing you out.
Re: touchy feeling type sanctimonious BS on the way out...nah, thanks.
If you could just leave me alone, that would be great. Haven't met my last 2 Bosses in person, ever; nor 95% of my team. This is not to say I dislike any of them or vice versa. It is what it is. I don't really know them. I'll show myself out, thanks and good luck.
COBC is only used as an excuse when it is convenient. It is not used by senior management or by anyone towards the customer. It is nothing but grab what you can grab and enrich yourself.
Don’t forget your retirement gifts!!
@12m2Rih6-njd what was the reaction you got?
I would see that as a bonus. Just leave me the f— alone and let me leave in peace. I really don't need an "attaboy" when I leave. They're not my family.
I don’t understand this post what do you mean processing exit admin requirements. I elected MVO and experienced a much different reaction to my leaving. I am in the Midwest.
It’s not just the Midwest. The entire company is unethical.
There is no such niceties in T, cS or cT. They disappeared around 2005, after the dot-com bust and the great recession of 2008. Current so called leadership is full of yes men/women whose only skill is to comply with the cr@p orders from their immediate higher up.
Good luck to you and fair winds on your future endeavors.
