Constantly getting LTIH referrals coming back with no available FCMs . Happening in larger areas, just not rural locations. What is going on??

That’s because they laid off all LTIH nurses last year,
Kindred doing Post d/c’s doesn’t bode well for HAH HCMs
Kindred will be doing HAH Post discharge surveys and CM HAH will no longer be doing those starting Monday 12-9-2019. Member has to have Kindred for HH upon discharge for this to apply. Kindred will be very involved moving forward.
Why would Kindred pick up Long term? Kindred is HH!
LTIH experienced a RIF beginning of this year and last year. Kindred should pick up the slack next year 2020
That has been happening for almost a year now in the north central region. We don’t even get a response back anymore & if we do it says there are no nurses available in that area.
