Rolling out HSA funds from Optum Bank - anyone successful?

I left Wells Fargo earlier this year and have been trying to roll my HSA funds to another financial institution. When I called Optum Bank back in July (using the special number for accounts sold by Wells Fargo), they said to just go to the new financial institution to initiate the transfer. Despite doing that, I am still waiting on the transfer. I can find nothing on-line at Optum's site that addresses a transfer to another institution - just an option to close the account and have the funds sent directly to the account holder.

Anyone had any success rolling the funds to another financial institution? If so, any words of advice? WIth so many ex and potential ex-Wells Fargo folks that may want to transfer the HSAs, this is a relevant posting.

Thank you!

when moving to a new financial institution the new bank requires for the account holder to use their form. Typically it takes 3-5 business days from the day the form is received to initiate the closure, and then 7-10 business days for the new institution to receive the closure check.

Moving to a local financial institution where I can access immediately and has better interest rates. Never invested it as I've pulled funds in an emergency before.

Why roll? I retired and my HSA at Optum doesn't have any fees (well, visible fees), so no need to move. They have low expense Vanguard for investing so just stay imo.
