Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How’s the early FBO “knowledge transfer” going?

I’ve heard it’s going even worse than expected with the overseas contractors.

Technical, language and comprehension issues on the Accenture side. Huge delays in Accenture getting access to FBO systems and apps. Lacking in organization.

Accenture does not offer paid holidays or vacation benefits to new hires. Nobody but desperate people are going to take those jobs in this economy.

Customer service at this company continues to plummet. This company blows so much time and money sending technicians to the customer's house for stupid issues that were easily solved over the phone when AT&T employed knowledgeable American tech support.

Now, customers absolutely hate dealing with this company. You know things are bad when it's debatable if this company has worse customer service than Frontier.

Does not matter how bad the transition , or 'transformation' is going for the train has already left the station and AT&T has foretasted their savings/cost-avoidance into 2020 budgets. They also know over time, it will get better.

The sad thing is, AT&T will make it through so they will keep going, regardless of impact to customers or employees.

Are people so living from paycheck to paycheck that they can't refuse to train their replacements?

What do they get if they train them versus don't?

It's going so well they are asking people to go to India to train them for several weeks before they get laid off.

It's rumored Accenture is having trouble hiring resources, even though the people they are hiring have no billing experience.

If you want to see how far they have gotten, look at the Addison org in Webphone under Marburger.

You hear jack, buddy. Sorry you lost a job, but it is a great economy. Go get a new job while the getting is good.
