Just for the hell of it to see what's gonna happen?

A good manager will not stop a layoff
@ 1nnx
You can not lead those that are not willing to follow. Those that do not listen to reason. Those that can not take direction. Our rank and file are such strong individuals that they fail to adhere to chain of command. For those that think their Managers are weak and worship the bottoms of the upper management, imagine you swap places. Money says talk is cheap and as a Manager you would fall in line. Be honest, would you stand up and poke the sleeping giant? Would you prefer a Manager that would write every individual for insubordination for refusing to follow a simple request? People that take your position are the ones to quickly point a finger yet fail to recognize they own part of the problem. It’s easy to point out a problem. The hard part is to be part of the solution. You will never do that. You will tear down the folks trying to do something positive. To leas a group. If you’re a leader, lead. Money says you’re complainer, a malcontent and someone that can’t understand everyone is just trying to earn a living.
More entitled union nonsense. Nothing to see here. Put the violin down and move on please.
@WVB, you have it completely BACKWARDS. Everything begins with leadership. A strong leader sets the pace and expectations for his crew or department.
When instead of leadership you have the buttsucking and non creative conformity that this organization is famous for, you end up with poor performance all the way down the line.
Poor worker performance is caused by weak leadership, and that extends all the way up the ranks to Randall and his heir apparent, the Stankster.
@12WTPjsD-wvk well said and all true
A good Manager is as good as their team. For what you seek, look within, then look around. All solutions start with YOU!
Yes... and while we are at it, can we also get some workers that can work?
The saying used for years was that att got all the people that applied for management jobs elsewhere, but were not qualified.
Yes, seriously. Sadly, it'll never happen. In 22 years, I've had 35 managers. At one time, I was 5 levels from the CEO, now I'm 9 levels out, and I’ve always been at the same level. At least half of the managers I've had, never hesitated once to throw me or the team under the bus, usually due to their own gross lack of competence. The other half were mediocre at best. Going to HR about it, what an outright joke, as we all know. Someone here said, “those managers are all gone, here left with relatives and buddies". Nothing could be truer than that statement. We've all bared witness to always getting overlooked for several positions you’ve worked hard to step up into, only for the son or daughter (or personal close friend or former elitist SMU, Yale, Harvard, etc. party animal school buddy) an AVP, VP or President to whistle through on the LDP program, while treating you like a pariah. Look now, today, where they are, and how they mismanaged this company into bait fish for activist investors can attack and dismantle and steal the wealth of this once great company that we all built with our blood, sweat and tears, along with huge family sacrifices.
Lmao!! Really?! All they are promoting in COR stores and young kids that have stacked accounts for 6 mths and fraud! Its been duly noted on there table touches and there means to close a DTV or add a line!!
Are you crazy? They will realize we only need 1/3 of us to run this Company. Thanks to multiple redundant layers of management creating 1000s of work roles and scores of different processes- we have to employee this many people to work thru all the clutter and noise. Be careful what you wish for
Those managers are long gone you are stuck with relatives and buddies.
No until Ratty and Stinky and the Board of Misfit leave!
Could you imagine how great that would be?? I’ve work for several companies and I’ve never seen poorer management.
