Possible layoffs of part time personnel? Anyone here of this? Sounds like company wide, based on this post.

Yes - we were already notified. Not sure staying here is worth it anymore considering constant cuts in hours...
Yes in stores that are having drastic hour changes. Example: 7a-12a now becoming 8a-9p. This happens every year as stores have their hours evaluated. Usually the staff can be moved to other stores. However, this year there are such a large majority of stores changing everyone is essentially over staffed. So in areas where they have no positions to offer these employees severance is offered.
