Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

T-mobile adds 7 million new customers, now has 86 million customers

T-mobile is really eating att’s lunch. Rumor is t-mobile will merge with Comcast after it completes merger with Sprint. Why is T-mobile outperforming att? Customer Service and NOT playing games with hidden fees and other bs tacked on charges. Consumers are fed up with att’s games. So how did t-mobile go from a small pre-paid insignificant player to a powerhouse ? Well Randy’s gift of free valuable spectrum And billions in cash from att In 2011 certainly helped jumpstart them.
Randy cost att billions in that deal and made a real competitor of t-mobile and he’s rewarded with not only keeping his job but endless bonuses every year.

There's something magical about a good dumpster fire. One just can't resist watching it. I'm also way better off. But, I cant help but to watch the flames.

Got to the third interview with T mobile business as an enterprise account executive in November but they choose someone else. The role, moneys and benefits seemed legit. I really wanted the role especially since the MVO was offered. Oh well!

Post ID: @12UwzyQ8-1lle I admit that it’s morbid curiosity that makes me come back to this site. I like knowing my peers are making a good living, but I don’t enjoy knowing what many of them (not all) are going through. I miss many of my co-workers but I don’t miss the circus environment. I was always amazed at how hard we had to work to overcome leadership incompetence, yet, we always managed to somehow succeed.

Side note... I don’t miss the AT&T toxic culture. I’m having the best time of my life.

And yet... here you are. Can’t move on from the best chapter of your life huh?

Well, I retired while working at AT&T. I shopped around and we ended up with T-Mobile. Absolutely no regrets. Side note... I don’t miss the AT&T toxic culture. I’m having the best time of my life.

Look at TMO. Mostly Let Go AT&T workers now, with none of the restraints placed on innovating. Good job.

Randall gave TMobile all that cash and spectrum. Stankey just gave Apple Pfefler. Rinse....Repeat....buy high eff it up....enrich your competition and sell off low......

The really sad news is that T-Mobile wasn’t even on our level as a competitor until we had to pay them $4 billion in Randles failed take over bid. One of many mistakes made by him and Stankey!

The top four wireless telecommunications facilities-based service providers by subscriber count in the United States are:

AT&T Mobility: 162.3 million (Q3 2019)[2]
Verizon Wireless: 118.7 million (Q3 2019)[3]
T-Mobile US: 83.1 million (Q2 2019)[4]
Sprint Corporation: 54.5 million (Q1 2019)[5]
Each active SIM card is considered a subscriber.[6] Wholesale customers include users of machine to machine networks and mobile virtual network operators that operate on the host network, but are managed by wholesale partners. Verizon Wireless does not report wholesale subscriber count. For comparison purposes, the total subscriber count for Verizon Wireless includes an estimated number of wholesale customers.

AT&T's postpaid ARPU is $50.51 whereas T-Mobile's is $46.22 - Bottom line is their rate plans are cheaper. More net adds. Less revenue.

Why is T-mobile outperforming att?

It helps to have a smaller footprint than AT&T. Their coverage is horrible.
