Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

inside information of keeping real ATT call center employees -employed

The push for sales in all areas of call centers what is the likelihood that ATT isn’t going to outsource more call centers even with this new push for sales? I can’t see them paying for benefits in the future.

Ultimately att wants no employees and all contractors or authorized retailers. Gets them out of a payroll and tax situation.

If they could go 100% Authorized Retail/National Retail they would. No over head. No liability.

Randall and the executive suite's goal is to outsource any and every job they possibly can, regardless of the company's profitability. There is no humanity or empathy from the leadership of this organization. Employees are seen as a liability on a spreadsheet, not as humans or valued employees . We are seen as a cost that must be minimized. Period.

Increasing sales or not will have no affect on that perception whatsoever.
