How accurate is the Late Feb to March timeframe?
I feel like these rumors have been going on since last april after the last layoffs were over?? Did GM losses from the strike outweigh "staff reduction costs"

I was just told early part of March for the next round of cuts. Get your resumes out now to avoid the crowds

Watch out for an increased number of HR bookings of conference rooms. That is an early indicator of the next round of layoffs. You might also want to book some vacation days as you will lose them all in a layoff.

I also heard that Feb is time for "rebalancing" (Politically correct new term for layoffs. Offers will not be as good as last year as GM is starting to struggle with the realization that competition is already fierce in EV and Autonomous is much further away than they expected. Key focus will be in elimination and/or deleveling of 8th level managers without significant numbers of direct reports.

These people that are in charge, they clearly can not run a company.
