Randall and the Good 'Ole Boys

So I hear our glorious leader, Eagle Scout Randall himself, just received an award from Yale University for being a "leadership legend". And yes, they really are talking about the same Randall Stephenson who has basically destroyed the once great AT&T corporation.

The good 'ole boys all take good care of each other. Even though these guys are complete losers who could never successfully run a profitable company or even be a top performer working in one, they pat each other on the back and give each other accolades for being so very fantastic!

Why do they get away with this? Because we live in a society that lets them! We have a government that works for its corporate and plutocratic sponsors first and foremost. And we have plenty of ordinary people, who should know better, su@king up to the rich as if they really were superior people and not merely as$holes with a lot of money.

While people from Hong Kong to Moscow to Paris are out in the streets protesting tyranny, often risking their lives against violent police enforcers, what are we doing here in the home of the 'brave and the free'?

I often wonder myself why Americans don't revolt. I have come to the conclusion that we are the most effectively propagandized people. Don't forget that advertising, public relations, and opinion management was invented here. Google Edward Bernays. Our ruling class has the best PR operation in the world. In the old USSR the propaganda was heavy handed and obvious. In the US the propaganda is pervasive and cleverly designed to pit various parts of the wage slave class against each other. Divide and conquer. So while we all quibble over abortion, g– marriage, immigration, and climate change, our rulers make off with our rightful portion of the wealth of our country. It works like magic. But eventually, even here in the land where propaganda was invented, it fails. And when it does. Watch 'em scramble. We almost had a revolution here after the great depression but Roosevelt nipped it in the bud by sharing power with the masses. I don't see any Roosevelt on the horizon. No one will see it coming until the system fails to hold our loyalty and collapses.

Well said. It will eventually be Hong Kong. Randy gets awarded for destroying a company and ruining lives.
